Ingredients
- 240 g (2 counts) Broccoli, frozen packages (if using fresh, cook a little longer before mixing)
- 480 g (2 counts) Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 232 g (1 count) Cream of Cheddar Soup, 10–11 oz can
- 474 g (2 cups) Water
- 14 g (⅛ stick OR 1 tbsp) Butter, melted
- 60 g (½ cup) Bread Crumbs, from self-rising crackers, crushed
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cream of cheddar soup and water. Stir until vegetables are evenly coated.
- 3Add melted butter and grated cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
- 4Transfer the mixture to a single baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
- 5Just before baking, sprinkle the crushed self-rising cracker crumbs evenly over the top.
- 6Bake, uncovered, for 20–30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- 7Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
