Ingredients
- 960 g (8 cups) Cabbage, finely chopped (about 1 head)
- 15 g (¼ carrot) Carrot, shredded (1 medium carrot)
- 20 g (2 tbsp) Onion, minced
- 60 g (½ cup) Mayonnaise, Best Foods / Hellmann's
- 67 g (¼ cup) Granulated Sugar
- 61 g (¼ cup) Milk
- 61 g (¼ cup) Buttermilk
- 38 g (2 tbsp 1½ tsp) Lemon Juice
- 11 g (1 tbsp 1½ tsp) White Vinegar
- 3 g (½ tsp) Table Salt
- 0 g (¼ tsp) Black Pepper (ground)
Instructions
- 1Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped up into very fine pieces (about the size of rice).
- 2Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
- 3Add the cabbage, carrots, and onion, and mix well.
- 4Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, stir, then serve.
